Okay, I know I said I would only make a pattern once until I’ve worked through my pattern stash, but I love the #SudleyDress so much that I had to make a version with the collar!

This time, I chose this super soft tartan/check print Rayon Poplin from Lowry and it gives my dress a cute 90s grunge feel. I decided to do the Peter Pan collar in a contrasting black fabric because I didn’t want it to get lost in the print, and I am obsessed.

I’m not much of pattern matcher, I don’t know why, but it doesn’t bother me!

Speaking of re-making patterns, I’m also working on a dress hack version of the #AdrienneBlouse and I’ll share that with you in due time. I’m having too much fun with wovens right now to get into a knit headspace, but the pattern is all cut out and ready for me to sew it up.

In my previous blog post I shared why you absolutely need to have the #SudleyDress in your pattern stash, so if you haven’t read that post already, check it out here.

This time I cut it in a size small instead of medium and it fits me a lot better, especially around the shoulder, so this is the size I’m going to stick to for this pattern going forward. I’m not much of pattern matcher, I don’t know why, but it doesn’t bother me! I cannot wait for the warmer months to come around so I can make this in a cropped style with the collar. It’s going to look super cute!
