I’ve been creating so many things in my little sewing studio at home, buying so much fabric and materials that I’m starting to lose track of all the projects I’m making. I decided to get a little more organized, so I created myself a little Sewing Project worksheet based on how I work that includes the materials and sewing notions I need, a sketch or picture of what I intend to make, any necessary skills I need to learn in order to complete the project, as well as some swatches of fabric I could use. I haven’t officially used my new system yet, but I’m going to give it a go and I will share my journey with you on this blog.
I designed and drafted this yellow top for my sister’s second baby shower (honey/bee-themed) and I love how it turned out!
I haven’t worn yellow in years and I must say I quite enjoyed the little pop of sunshine it added to my day.
On another note, I’m making plans to get back into creating content for my Youtube channel soon. I’ve just been a bit annoyed with everything that’s been happening in terms of Youtube’s new algorithms that’s making it hard for me to reach my subscribers. I think I need to keep pushing on, because I get so many inboxes from you that truly humbles me and makes me want to get back on the video bandwagon.
