These past few months have been rough. My Dad passed away just before the New Year and I was crushed. I still am, crushed. And I don’t think I will ever be the same. It’s been a tough few months, but I am finally at a place where I’m feeling better, and ready to be myself again.
So much has happened since I last posted. I don’t wanna get into any details, but rather, share with you a highlight of my 2018. I celebrated my 36th birthday in October last year, and I decided to finally get the sewing machine I’ve been saving up for since I first started working on one a few years ago… I finally got my Bernina! I ended up getting the B535 because I could easily upgrade it to use an embroidery unit. I love my machine so much, I still cannot believe it’s mine! I thought I’d share my first sewing project I made on it with you.
I had sewing labels made for all my garments – it makes my projects feel legit! What do you think?
I’d really like to get back into the flow of posting more on this blog and sharing my creative journey with you. I used to enjoy it so much, but I’ve been going through a lot in the latter part of 2018 that it just hasn’t been a priority for me. However, here’s to getting the ball rolling again!
